There are 30 billion electric lamps worldwide and every day, we switch on at least one! New lighting called LED is now on the market. LED lamps are electronic components that convert electric current into light.
They are more energy-efficient and therefore cleaner.
CNRS researchers are working on tomorrow's lighting technology in the form of organic LED, large plastic films that emit light.
