Let's Play MechCommander - Op1M1 (Part 2)

A very straight-forward and somewhat boring mission to get you accustomed to what you have to do (kill everything).

This is my oldest and first Let's Play, circa 2010, starting the MechCommander campaign. MechCommander is a unique game in the realm of Battletech video games, being the first real-time strategy entry into the venerable series that had been mostly centered on Mechwarrior titles. Along with the extremely-rare Crescent Hawk's Inception and Crescent Hawk's Revenge, MechCommander, MechCommander Gold, and MechCommander 2 make up the strategy-side of Battletech video games. Though it plays fast and loose with the Battletech rules and canon, the game balance is still fun and its quite a delight to see the mechs from outside the cockpit.

MechCommander puts you in the role of the titular MechCommander during the Inner Sphere's liberation of the Clan Smoke Jaguar Occupation Zone. You will guide your forces on Port Arthur, completing objectives that will eventually result in the full liberation of the planet.
