Leslie Briggs - Sitting

Sitting on tmy front steps,
Feeling all the regrets,
Holding onto things unreal.

Sitting on my front lawn,
Watching stars until dawn,
Searching for your face.

Sitting high in my tree,
Watching kinder all run free,
Waiting just to fall.

Sitting by my windowsill,
Hearing, seeing, feeling, knowing, just my fill,
Sleeping just to not wake up.
