Without you,
It's raining in my heart,
And the skies are grey,
Not blue,
And all I can think of,
Is you.

Where have you gone, little one?
Back to the places we used to know?
Are you safe?
I just wish that I could know.

Without you,
The sun never shines,
And the world is dark,
Not bright.
Are you out there, little one,
In the cold,
Of the night?

Won't you come home?
I need you so,
You make me feel special,
For only you'll ever know.

Without you, I'm so lonely-
Crying to have you here.
Without you, I'm helpless-
Full of longing and fear.

You're my best friend,
You bring me up again.
And if you never come home,
My heart shall never mend.

You gave me comfort,
When no one else could.
You gave me love,
When no one else would.

I think of you,
And remember,
All the things we shared.
And although you wouldn't have understood,
I should have told you all those times,
How much I truly cared.

How I need you near me,
To feel your warmth and love,
To share the tears and the joy,
And the beauty far above.

Right now I give you tears,
For all the purring you once gave to me,
And all the love and understanding,
You had just for me.
