Serge, caissier de superette, mène une vie morose dans son appartement. Drum et Bass, deux compères bucoliques, exercent, tant bien que mal, le métier de bruitards. C’est grâce à leur travail que notre quotidien est animé par des sons. Ils y parviennent grâce à divers instruments farfelus de leurs fabrications. Serge, l'humain dont ils s’occupent, va découvrir l'origine des bruits en tombant nez a nez avec eux. Découverte qui ramènera un peu de gaîté dans la vie de Serge...

Serge, a supermarket employee, lives a pretty boring life in his small flat. Drum and Bass, two little buddies, work as hard as they can as bruitards, i.e. "sound makers". It's thanks to them that our daily routine is rythmed by sounds. They can do it with the help of strange instruments they made themselves. Serge, the human they are taking care of, will discover the origins of sounds when he sees them for the first time. This discovery will bring back some joy in Serge's life...
