Leonard Joy's All String Orchestra - Where Can You Be

This an unusual, exquisitely arranged dance band song, in an orchestration for string orchestra. Very little is known about Leonard Joy, a boadleader who made many brilliant studio recordings for Victor, many of them under the denomination of "The High Hatters". One of his usual vocalists was Frank Luther and he is also singing the vocal on this wonderful 1930 recording.
