Lemon on 240 Volts

A lemon was connected to 240 Volts 50 Hertz to investigate how much current would pass through it.
The maximum current is actually disappointing low. Maximum I was about 1.5 Amps only.
The lemon smoke smells fresh, bit lemonly and bit burnt at the same time as the juices leak out of the lemon.

As main voltages are involved here utmost care must be taken to isolate the supply prior to changing any connections. e.g. visible break, plug out of the wall socket.
