Before I met you I enjoyed just been free,
I had my fun and games but that was just me;
All that I did was party and get high,
But to say I still want to do that would just be a lie.


When I met you I thought I’d found my soul mate,
Not just another guy that I wanted to date;
You made me laugh and made me smile,
Things were so good but we both knew we only had a while.


When I was with you everything felt so right,
I hoped and prayed the court case would turn out O.K;
But you got sent down and we couldn’t be together anymore
How could they take away the guy I adore?


I want you to know that I really do care,
Try to remember that even though I can’t always be there;
Your always part of my thoughts and my dreams,
Whenever I think of you I feel my heart beam.


I will do all that I can to help you be set free,
Then we can be together and just be happy;
So when you’re sat there thinking of me and you,
Think of this poem and know I think the same things too.
