Leilani Brodeur - Dream

His kisses were dreamy with mystic and delight.
His eyes were alluring like the full moon's light.
His hands held me dear and close; with a
hopeful thought that he would never let go.
His voice kept me near even as I wanted to
push away.
This demon in my eyes, has stolen this
broken heart of mine.
But these deathly thought of dolor would not
go, every time he pulled me close.
Knowing this might only be a swoon of the
heart; I held him tight.
Knowing this daze would soon fade.
And end it did as my demon held me close.
My deceptive mind broke into consciousness.
Vigilant, I laid here knowing that this
demon wasn't real.
Awake; I knew this demon was only a dream
that could never be true.
