Members of the autistic community have many strengths, but also face many challenges. Chief among them is the absence of laws to protect and empower not only autistic persons, but all persons with disabilities. This is the view of Independent senator Dr. Paul Richards, who's calling on the government to take action now. Rynessa Cutting reports.
