Left protests on Professor arrest over a controversial post

Professor of Delhi University’s Hindu College Ratan Lal was arrested on Friday for his objectionable social media post related to the Gyanvapi Mosque case. According to the police, the professor made derogatory comments about a ‘Shivling’ found inside Varanasi’s Gyanvapi mosque complex. There has been an uproar over the arrest of Professor Ratan Lal. Left-wing students have come out openly in favor of Professor Ratan Lal. Students protested against the arrest of Professor Ratan Lal under the banner of the Left student organization All India Students Association (AISA). The students demanded the immediate release of Ratan Lal in the Gyanvapi controversy. Watch this video.
