Yesterday's worries
matters not now
the sleep without dreams
takes care of that anyhow
the spirit when set free
of earth-bound mortality
is then freed from the pain,
what used to be reality...
Etched in stone forever
is, finally, one's epitaph
A life once lived, summed up
in a short paragraph...
so many of us are so
focused on the material,
forgotten is character,
our souls, ethereal
If one's existence is valued
solely on this... tangible factor
how's the poorest in life
the best remembered, for that matter?
To live is to have loved
to touch is with one's heart,
to be forgotten as thus
does death truly start
The dead cannot do,
as in life, to make right
The living, take heed!
Make good in life your plight...

Beginning with today,
for each year marches ever faster,
Make honor the code,
let it be your master
While bound to this earth,
we are all God's children,
Life, and the beauty within,
should be regarded as Heaven...
At the end we all sleep,
the sleep without dreaming,
Love ne'er forgets;
a life without, is without meaning.
