Leady Rhymes - Heartbreak

Looking up at the ceiling, 

I cant believe the the way I’m feeling, 

Wanting to cry, its hard, I’m grieving, 

Pillow on my face, to shush my breathing.


 Its 2am, but I lay awake, 

thinking bout, all my mistakes, 

wondering why, we had to break, 

and if this, I can take.
 


You were the one that I adored, 

you were the one that made me sure, 

you were my one, forever more, 

but then you knocked me to the floor.


Stood there rigid, like a store, 

your heart was mine, but not no more, 

you couldn’t take me anymore, 

you screamed, left, and slammed the door.
 


So in love, I couldn’t see, 

that you were slowly, breaking free, 

had me begging on my knee, 

please don’t go babe, stay with me.


You’d had enough, no longer cared, 

my heart was broken, my soul was scared, 

head placed firmly, in my hands, 

our broken dreams, our broken plans.


 I cant do this, this I’m sure, 

I’m leaving now forever more, 

I’m sorry if I’ve been a bore, 

but after all, your just a *****.
