Lea Simpson - What Shall We Do With Jesus Christ?

Just like the book of Revelation
Christians expect a great celebration
When Christ returns to lift our souls high
To reserved places somewhere in the sky

But if he arrived they’d call it blasphemy
Treat him like they would an enemy
Lock him away and call him deluded
Lock him away, make sure he’s secluded

“Who is this crazy? Who is this nut?
Tell him to keep his wicked mouth shut
How dare he say that he is Christ?
He’s acting out a religious heist
He’s taken our prayers and he’s preyed on them
Called these our sins, said he’s paid for them
He has no respect for books of the bible
Writes it off, calls it the great book of libel! ”

Are there any prospects of salvation
For a society built on a Christian foundation?
What if our faith was already exceeded?
What if he’s been and you didn’t believe it?
