Le' Anna - first snowfall

the first snow fall.
the pure sky is falling.
covering the inadequacies of today and yesterday.
covering the brown.
covering the hate.

Tomorrow I will awake to the light frosting
And I will give thanks.
She let me jump on the bed today! !
Oh, the sky is falling, the sky is falling.

Slush
Snow
White snow
Snow that will soon turn grey
This world is pure
For just one day

and then mommy gets in a cab
I stand next to OUR snowman,
and watch that cab drive away.
i watch my mommy drive away

Grey fumes
yellow on white.
dog piss
Where are you going
Where’d you go?

I am 3.
i look to the sky.

This blessed sky, for answers...

And LOOK!

The sky is crying too.
