I awakened one day,
And it was like a new beginning!
Wanting life the way I wanted.
Realizing I did not have to accept
Anyone's reactions
To 'my' satisfactions!
And I smiled as I started my day.
Embracing the wind...
Enjoying 'me' all over again.
Under a cloudless sky!
And imagining the clusters,
Of diamonds I held within!
