And then a defensiveness,
You now today hold that is senseless...
Will become easier for you to admit,
Without me being around to witness it.

Do not attempt to absorb any of this.
Your lack of comprehension,
Will only lead to an argument.
And just for the sake of peace and quiet,
I will pretend your thought process...
Does not inhibit your lack to exhibit understanding.

Put it down.
I am sure you will find some time...
To allow your mind to open.
And digesting what is being addressed,
Without me reminding you...
How disgusted you are with my directness.
And if I came to deceive you with sweetness,
Everything I said you would accept.

Put it down.
With me in your presence...
And handing you this message,
The only thing you will remember...
Is being upset.
Not by the message...
But by my presence you will not forget.

It will make more sense to you tomorrow.
