You couldn't feel 'this'...
What you have now,
For me.
Back then.

And you once said,
I was a pest...
And from you flee.
Remember when,
Back then.

I might have been that guy...
Back then.
But then...
I'm much wiser now,
Then anytime
I've ever been...
In time before.

I'm not the one to repeat a repeat,
Ever again!
I'm not the one to repeat a repeat,

And then come those moments...
When my heart, my ears and eyes,
Are fixed on 'what if' and maybe.

You once said,
You couldn't feel 'this'...
For me,
Back then.
In that 'when' we lived in,
Back then.

Back when...
My heart, my ears and eyes,
Were fixed on 'what if' wishes and 'maybee'.

And it 'bees' that way sometimes!

I'm not the one to repeat a repeat...
Ever again!
But you are the one who once said,
You could not 'feel' 'this'...
For me.
Back then,
And...
You guaranteed me no win.

And here you've come to plead with me...
To,
Rescue you...
Again.
Like a windmill stirring up a breeze...
To set you free.
