Lawmaker questions Pagcor paper deal

MANILA - AGHAM party-list Rep. Angelo Palmones questions the nearly P1.8 billion paper-based "ticket-in, ticket-out" system or TITO technology being used by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.

Palmones said the deal is overpriced and disadvantageous to the government.

In a letter to Pagcor Chairman Cristino Naguiat Jr., Palmones said the technology is unnecessary and already obsolete.

Palmones has filed a resolution that sought a probe into the translation.

PAGCOR officials have yet to comment on the issue.
