Laurence Overmire - Reunion
Revisited
Those well-worn paths
That spanned
The precipitous hours
Of long-dead days.
The spirits of the past
Remain
Entombed there
Forever.
They will not rise again.
But I
Move forward
Now
My headlong march
Through time
Is predicated on
Some fateful hour.
Stay not too long
To watch the setting sun
For it will rise again
Tomorrow.
