Time passes by as I cross the bridge..
I am crossing over to the other side.
I am finding out if I know my calling.
The trials I face, make my heart race,
But I know that I must hold on,
I know that I must hold on,
To the Right hand of God.
His arm is pointing the way,
His voice is telling me where to stay.
And when I need to run away,
His love carries me.

When I was silent, my bones withered away.
When I opened my mouth to speak the truth,
No one would hear.
Many are they that rise up against me,
Many are they that say there is no help for you in God.

But I will hold on to You, I will hold on to Your Words of Life.
You are my Defense, I shall not be moved.
You comfort the daughter of zion.
You lift the head of those whose trust is in You.
I will obey even if it means rejection,
I will obey even if it means isolation.
For it is better to fear the Lord, than to fear man.

Again I find You, after the storm.
You have brought me to the other side
And renewed my joy to be alive.

I will awaken ever new,
I will awaken my deep love for you.
For you will surround me
With Your fortress sweet,
And deliver me from this frustration.

The way ahead promises to be
An adventure, and a mystery to unravel.
For day by day, you enlighten my eyes
To know the wisdom of the King of the Skies.

Beasts threaten to come near,
Foxes follow me even here.
But I stand at the watchtower,
Holding on to Your Word ever so true,
Knowing that it's truth is my defense,
I find my shelter in Your embrace.
