Laura Carie Dalton - Tears

As I cry tonight, you are there for me.
I know I will always have a shoulder to cry on.
I know that you will be there for me.
You help me see the light while I’m in the depths of despair.
You talk me out of suicide.
I now take each day like it is my last.
I call, you answer.
I talk; you listen.
You tell me that everything will be ok.
I cry; you comfort me.
I don’t want things to change between us.
I’m glad I met you.
