Feelings of a not so distant sadness
shadowed by my current madness
never quite grasping these feelings of blue
all the while sitting back and thinking of you
wondering how I'll make it day to day

with all the words running through my mind
why are these few so hard to find
what can I say that ever rings true
this is what I've pondered through and through

thinking of you there in your favorite seat
I can see my happiness just a few mere feet
wanting to tell you just how I feel
hoping soon to hear your voice for real

always aching to talk to you with your voice so strong
It makes me feel near to you when you’re gone
taking your hand and saying I love you
knowing in your heart true
always wondering from day to day
if I found the right thing to say....
