LATT QUESTIONS COP'S DECISION

The Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago is raising serious concerns over statements made by Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro regarding his decision not to suspend officers involved in a police shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured.

The Association says the explanation provided by the Commissioner raises troubling legal questions about the use of deadly force and the standards applied to police conduct.
