Latedra Ellis - Life Is Hard

Life is hard
Life is tough
All the memories of my old “best friend” I must discard
The previous road was rough
But, with no doubt it’s time to press the gas and move on
No pressing the brake to look back
I don’t know how but, my life just has to go on
Like an earthquake the previous road I had to go down shook
The open road I will soon learn to embrace
But, will the open road embrace me?
To find the answer to I will not press that brake to look back!
