La vie de Liv bascule du jour au lendemain quand l'avion transportant son mari Simon s'écrase, ne laissant aucun survivant. Mais elle apprend que Simon ne fait pas partie des victimes, puisqu'il n'a jamais pris ce vol. Il a rencontré une femme à l'aéroport et a décidé de partir avec elle. Liv enquête alors, cherchant à découvrir les secrets de son mari et le danger qui l'entoure.
