I thought love was pure
Almost always was a cure
If it is then I am immune
For love sickness has left me in ruin

Love is the poisen inside my soul
Another was so-called congenial
I was left in the dust
Stomped on and crushed
Until I regained my feel

My trust is broken
My guard destroyed
My love forsaken
My heart devoid

Scattered not whole
Cold not heated
Thoughts all mixed
All this has left me defeated

I was taken for granted
Lied to and cheated on
Left unimportant...
And so life goes on
