Lara Eidi is a singer-songwriter of Greek, Lebanese and Canadian ethnicity. Her music is a blend of folk-rock, ethnic, indie-pop and vocal layerings , all resulting in her first , self-produced EP " Little People". Her influences draw from the powerful songwriting talents of Joni Mitchell, to the vocal freedom of Lisa Gerard, to the rock edge of Pink Floyd and the instrumental layerings of Philip Glass. Lara is a huge fan of jazz music as well. Surrounded by amazing musicians, with Stavros Parginos on cello, who inspires her to continuously write, and perform her music around Athens and in Europe. Atmospheric harmonies, vocal harmonies and acoustic styling are what has stylized Lara's music to date. knowing full well that music has that uncanny ability to change when least expected. her dream is to take her music to wider audiences outside of Greece, and to collaborate with a multitude of creative musicians, artists, and hopefully, filmmakers.

So far, after the self produced release of "Little People " to great reviews in the Greek scene , the summer of 2013 was the launch of 'The Lara Collectives' showcase of their work . Playing to sell out crowds in Beirut, Lebanon (international music festival ) and the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe festival to warm reviews they came back to Greece to find a renewed and eager audience that culminated in a series of radio interviews ( StardustRadio).Their most recent project to date is to write the music for the documentaries and short films of the up and coming cross- media project from the Middle East ,Knoozroom (www.knoozroom.com)

At the moment, Lara has just relocated to London, and is organizing gigs with Stavros and other musicians .

The Lara Collective is a musical duet of experimental folk.
