"Landour institutions that are famous are Prakash's shop, for its cheese and jams (and occasionally bread and cinnamon rolls!), Deodar Hotel (Dev dar Woods), the Landour Language School, Kellogg church, Woodstock school, St. Paul's cathedral, the Jabbarkhet bhooth bangla, the cemetery, the north face walk, doorbin point at Lal Tibba, Char dukaani and much much more. Landour, a small cantonment town contiguous with Mussoorie, is about 35 km (22 miles) from the city of Dehradun in the northern state of Uttarakhand in India. The twin towns of Mussoorie and Landour, together, are a well-known British Raj-era hill station in northern India. Red Hot Pokers or Kniphofia (Tritoma, Red hot poker, Torch lily or Poker plant) is a genus of plants in the family Asphodelaceae and includes 70+ species that are all native to Africa.
