Lalit Modi alleges victimisation

Former IPL chairman Lalit Modi has issued a statement alleging he is being victimised for speaking out against reinstatement of Shashi Tharoor as Union minister. Lalit Modi alleges propaganda against him, says report against him saying he wants to avoid Indian authorites is untrue.

Government has initiated fresh steps to bring back former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi, facing charges of financial irregularities in the conduct of the T-20 cricket tournament, from the UK where he has been staying for nearly two years.
