Lakhimpur case and opposition's protest!

Maharastra witnesses a state-wide bandh on Monday as the ruling allies in the state-Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress issued a call for a bandh to protest against the killing of farmers in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri last week. The three ruling allies have made it clear that the bandh was not state government-sponsored, but called by the parties. Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress leaders observed maun vrat to protest against the Lakhimpur incident.
