Lai Says Taiwan Will Not Surrender

President Lai Ching-te told citizens at an international resilience forum that Taiwan will not surrender, following this week’s release of a new citizen guide on civil defense. The event marked one year since the Whole-of-Society Resilience Committee was formed and drew international guests and diplomats to Hsinchu and Taipei to discuss defense and other aspects of societal resilience.
