Whats up Little Monsters this is ClevverMusic. On Friday October 4 Gaga teased us with this preview of her anticipated ARTPOP album cover revealing that her famed artist pal Jeffrey Koons has made it and would be revealed with iHeartRadio today October 7th at 1pm Eastern. Gaga also provided a list of the Clear Channel billboards that the cover would be revealed upon. And the big reveal? Lots of art on the ARTPOP cover. We see the grey statue that Koons made of Gaga front and center on the cover. Shes wearing nothing, covering her breasts with her hands adorned with bangs and straight hair. A blue orb sits in front of Gaga covering her lady parts with the words ARTPOP in white. The background is a swirl maze of famous works of art in color and black and white. Lady Gaga is scrolled on the cover in hot pink. The sculpture made my Koons is a real sculpture that will be exhibited November 10th at the artRAVE ARTPOP album release party in NYC! Dont forget Gaga sings about her famous pal in the "Applause" song, "One second Im a Koons/ Then, suddenly the Koons is me". Mother Monster tweeted her excitement for the reveal this morning tweeting, "Im nervous&excited to share something thats such a piece of my heart. Something I cherish deeply. A real depiction of my mind through this." Honestly this isnt what we were expecting for Gagas cover, and thats why we love it. Were obsessed with the artful taste and were glad that it wasnt leaked prior to its unveil. It looks nothing like the previous rumored to be ARTPOP covers which saw lots of neon green and pink.
