The week begins just as it always has
Bold clock, tick on!
Less noticeable than the hours of passing
life.
Days and nights spin on each in just- turn.
Flashes as lights click into night and day.
Off and on from living into sleep.
Subtle changes creepin in as age,
that seeps in like whistling kettle mist,
as colors on a canvas
slowly fade.
