One girl
She sits
Alone
In the woods
Notebook in hand
Pondering
What to write
She glances around
At the trees for inspiration
Still nothing
The sky grows dark
But still she sits
Waiting
For inspiration to strike
The clouds grow darker
The air, denser
Rain falls slowly
To the ground
An idea strikes
Bright as the lightning
The thought roars
Loud as thunder
The words flow
As fluidly as the rain
As the storm rages on
She continues to sit
In the woods
Alone
Writing
At a furious pace
Hoping if the words
Are put onto paper
The feelings will go away
The rain quiets
Slows to a stop
The storm outside
Comes to a silent stop
But the storm within
Rages on
