Labour secretary refuses to commit to pay rises for workers

In an interview on Channel 4’s ‘The Andrew Neil Show’, Shadow work and Pensions Secretary Jonathan Ashworth says he supports the triple lock on pensions but won’t commit to pay rises for public sector rises that are in line with inflation.
