Labour condemns Rwanda scheme costs

The cost of the stalled Rwanda asylum scheme could rise to half a billion pounds, an investigation by the public spending watchdog found. Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper MP condemned the latest findings, saying: "It's just gimmick rather than grip, that money should be used to secure our borders and boost our border security instead."
