A federal Labor Senator has used parliamentary privilege to suggest a prominent Chinese-Australian political donor is the mysterious "puppeteer" behind a foiled foreign interference plot. The head of Australia's domestic intelligence agency Mike Burgess has refused to weigh in on the speculation.
