Working with my cousin Omar was just a delight. He would hand me his poem on a paper and sit next to me while I am holding the guitar trying to compose the song. If the song does not get composed within the first 15 minutes, he would tell you: "Are we going to spend the night over this?" He always expects the song to be composed very quickly (the same way he composes his poems). This song was actually completely composed within the first 15 minutes limit. The song was recorded on a tape recorder, and this is the original sound as it was composed and recorded.
