LA police arrest student

Police have taken a Los Angeles high school student into custody after a shooting on campus.

At least two people were shot at Gardena High School in the suburb of Gardena.

Police locked down the school after a teacher called 911 to report shots fired on Tuesday morning.

Aerial footage showed officers forcing someone dressed in black to the floor and handcuffing them.

Police later said a student had been arrested and taken into custody.

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said two victims were taken away by ambulance. There was no immediate word on their condition.
