L.A. Teachers And LAUSD: Back At Bargaining Table

As day four of the Los Angeles teachers strike looms, Reuters says that the United Teachers Los Angeles and the Los Angeles School District will go back to the bargaining table on Thursday.
Mayor Eric Garcetti will act as the mediator.
The two parties have not met since union leaders rejected LAUSD’s offer last Friday night, setting the stage for L.A. teachers’ first strike in 30 years.
Teachers have worked without a contract for nearly a year.
