kyle rainbolt - WHY

I try to make sense
of this world and understand it
but these eerie visions of failure
leave me reprimanded
so I just cant stand this
when did life decide to be so hard
and why cant i promise
that i wont fall apart?
why do these questions
spill onto these empty pages
like somehow i hope you can answer
before i erase it
why do i hide these emotions
so deep within the soul
as if being to hard to feel
will help me reach my goal
they say sucess should be
the pillar of my existance
that i should strive towards perfection
its in thier every sentance
but truly im conflicted
in these feelings that i feel
caught between whats fake
and what i think is real.
theres a burning inside me
a longing for the truth
someday i hope i find it
till then ill write for you
