This is the part of the poem where Things like love
Start
My hand glides across your bedroom wall as I dim the lights,
The shadows hiding in your mind, body and heart,
Take fright when your pulse quickens and your body gets warm
Oceans part when our lips entwine,
Our voices carry on throughout the entirety of a sleepless night
And every gasping breath we take brews into a whirlwind
Where you and I, feathers dancing in the current
Willingly, are swept away into heavenly oblivion
And like the goddess you are, we scream
Creating, inexplicable lights behind my ribs
Your eyes, like arrows, they penetrate me,
Much like your caress always does
