Kuu Ratsanik - My light

Filling my head with countless lies,
creating illusions, happy to let the time pass by.
Stuck in the past.
Heart, soul, everything inside in a cast.
Laughing everything off like it's meaningless.
I have an obsession, pleased, couldn't care less.

Suddenly everything changed.
Free from the chains, amazed.
Pinched myself to make sure I was not dreaming.
Confused. So this is what you call feeling?
Still remember like it was yesterday.
All this happened on a seemingly ordinary Tuesday.
It was far from ordinary though.
Free from a cage, a new start: ready, set, go!

Off to a flyer.
Emotions couldn't be any higher.
Won't look back now.
Want this magical feeling to last forever anyhow.

It's all because of you, I hope you know.
It's hard to find words for the way I feel about you,
but I'll try my best,
here I go:

You're the light of my life.
A star that shines so-so bright.
Extraordinary, best of them all.
Perfect, could ask for anything more.
Your smile, would do anything to see it live.
Your eyes, can't do anything but dive.
I know I can't, but when I'm with you I feel like I can fly.
I know It's not much, but this was my try.

Now a single wish has remained.
Tell me I've still got a chance to get my light.
I'm not anywhere near quitting the fight.
Give me a chance and I promise you,
this time I'll get everything right.
