I am alone
No one is here to play
I go and grab a swing
I pretend to fly
Like an air plane
In the sky
Just me
No one else
Swinging
The wind in my face
I am still by myself

No friends here
Looking for somebody
Somebody to play with
So I am not alone
I’ll find some friends
Some new friends
Friends that understand
But there are no friends here

Friends
You’re here
Here to play
To play and have fun
To swing all day
To laugh, to cry, and to stand by me
When times are bad
To understand me
For whom I am

My friends won’t leave me
They will stick by my side
They won’t let me down
They will stay for a while
And play with me
On these swings
My friends
