A tear rolls down her cheek
as he turns, she feels weak.
Why does he have to go.
Even he does not know.

She brushes away her pain,
knowing there’s something to gain.
She won’t cry because he’s gone,
but her love for him will live on

A tear rolls down her face,
as she accepts his embrace.
She knows now, he’ll never go.
And in that one tear, her love for him does show
