"It is difficult in one way to describe Kris' type of music with full accuracy. It is, on the one hand, classic folk, playing as he does alone with his acoustic guitar and harmonica. However, it is also simultaneously modern and edgy. What I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, is that Kris is captivating. I have been in pubs where he has played and on hearing him sing an instant and spontaneous silence descended among the patrons and all eyes remained on Kris for the duration of his set, breaking only to clap and cheer."

Born in 1980 in Bray, Co Wicklow, Kris (a.k.a. Chisty) will be well known to people around the Bray and Greystones area, including the patrons of Script, where he plays regularly.
