Kremlin unveils new helicopter pad

Moscow traffic is expected to get a little lighter thanks to a new helicopter pad that is being installed inside the Kremlin. So, now instead of tying up the streets even further with his motorcade, President Vladimir Putin will fly.

Behind the famed red brick walls, workers are putting the final touches on the pad which is large enough to land two helicopters and with room to park a third. Before breaking ground, architects had to work closely with Russian historians to ensure the design and the flight paths wouldn't have a negative impact on the Kremlin -- which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
