KPB: GOV'T ACTING ILLEGALLY

The Opposition Leader is calling government’s intention to amend the Public Procurement Act, an attempt to dip its hand further into the cookie jar.

At a media briefing on Friday, Kamla Persad Bissessar claimed that the government is trying to water down the law in a way that could benefit the PNM’s Local Government Elections campaigning.
