These thoughts I jot down
I write for myself
I don’t need nobody else
Don’t need no help

I don't need you by my side for me to write
I’ve inspired myself now and until the day I die

But you better hold on tight
And never ever let go
Because I left a space by my side
For you to roll, even though
You don't believe my poems will help us glow
You say I better keep it as a hobby
Something that’s kept real low
And if it doesn't get recognized
I bet you’ll say I told you so
But what if these words were recited
In front of a sold out show
Then I guess 40 thousand fans
Would have to let you know even though
40 thousand times I’ve let you know

Don’t feel bad, go on and enjoy
All the diamonds and jewels
No need to say it but without my poems
Those jewels you’ll lose

If poemhunter.com bought me good news
I would have to find someone else to talk to
You know that’s sad
Cause your the one I’m suppose to talk to
But I know better because I know all about you
